Make sure to stop along the way to see the sites in Kansas City, go to the Rolling Hills Zoo in Salina, and stop to stay at the High Plains Camging RV Park on the way to the giant Van Gogh painting in Goodland, KS. If you aren’t traveling down I-70, have no fear because some of the best destinations that Kansas has to offer come when you get “off the beaten path”. Try two of the Wonders of Kansas in Hutchinson, KS in the Underground Salt Museum and the Kansas Cospomosphere & Space Center. And there is no better way to see this beauty than by booking a Louisiana RV Vacation. Recovering well from the hurricane, this region of Louisiana is close to the Gulf of Mexico and Sam Houston Jones State Park, and provides opportunities for fishing, hiking, and wildlife viewing. Sabine National Wildlife Refuge is also in close proximity. There is no shortage of activities and things to see in Louisiana. Plus, with Louisiana’s warmer weather, it just might be the perfect winter RV vacation.

Don’t just look at the Grand Canyon through designated viewing areas, get to the heart of the area with a hike. Hikers in the canyon have three options: they can hike on maintained trails, non-maintained trails or routes, which provide myriad options for hikers of all abilities. Spring and fall offer the best hiking conditions as the inner canyon is very hot during the summer. Most visitors come to the Grand Canyon by the south rim, but the north rim is equally impressive although wilder and less traveled.

Summer Activities:
Day Hiking, Backpacking, River Rafting, Cycling, Camping, IMAX Theater, Walking, Fishing, Helicopter/Air Tours, Bicycling, Sightseeing Tours, Ranger Programs, Photography.

Winter Activities:
National Park Programs, Mule Trips, Christmas Eve Festivities, New Year’s Eve Festivities, Cross-Country Skiing, Snowshoeing, Hiking, IMAX Theater, Sightseeing Tours.
