winter_Bryce_CanyonBryce Canyon (Utah) – Bryce Canyon is perfect for those on a RV vacation. The Canyon is remotely located and this offers RV Vacationers less visitors to wade through and more time to enjoy the Canyon’s natural beauty. Bryce Canyon is distinctive due to its geological structures, called hoodoos, formed from wind, water, and ice erosion of the river and lakebed sedimentary rocks. The red, orange and white colors of the rocks are spectacular views to visitors.

The area around Bryce Canyon became a U.S. National Monument in 1923 and was designated as a national park in 1928. The park covers 56 square miles and 50 miles of hiking trails in Bryce, ranging in elevation from 6,500 to 9,100 feet. The Queen’s Garden/Navajo Loop is a moderately strenuous trail beginning at Sunrise Point and includes Wall Street, where hikers are dwarfed by soaring red walls and some enormous Douglas fir trees.
