Zion National Park – Utah’s oldest and largest national park with nearly three million visitors a year. The park is located in southern Utah east of St. George and Hurricane. The park in well known for its beautiful canyons, hiking trails, breathe taking views, and State Route 9 (Zion Road) a state scenic byway looking to become a National Scenic Byway. State Route 9 is a 44 mile route from I-15 at Hurricane that passes through Zion National Park including its 1.1 mile tunnel cut through rock. Much of the 44 mile road in Zion National Park is boarded by the beautiful redrock formations that southern Utah is known for.

Bryce Canyon (Utah) – Bryce Canyon is perfect for those on a RV vacation. The Canyon is remotely located and this offers RV Vacationers less visitors to wade through and more time to enjoy the Canyon’s natural beauty. Bryce Canyon is distinctive due to its geological structures, called hoodoos, formed from wind, water, and ice erosion of the river and lakebed sedimentary rocks. The red, orange and white colors of the rocks are spectacular views to visitors.

The area around Bryce Canyon became a U.S. National Monument in 1923 and was designated as a national park in 1928. The park covers 56 square miles and 50 miles of hiking trails in Bryce, ranging in elevation from 6,500 to 9,100 feet. The Queen’s Garden/Navajo Loop is a moderately strenuous trail beginning at Sunrise Point and includes Wall Street, where hikers are dwarfed by soaring red walls and some enormous Douglas fir trees.
